First day was an induction day in regional office and consisted of talks and activities. The next three days were in base office and we had to shadow some in Assurance or Tax. We attended meetings, listened in on phone calls, saw what our buddies and people in the office do every day and sometimes even went out to visit a client. When we had time we had to work on a project on either technology or sustainability which we could work on if we had limited work to do one day. The last day was getting together with our groups in person, writing, refining and delivering our presentations.
Developed a feel for what a professional environment is like and gained an insight to the business world.
I really enjoyed my week at PwC and I am really glad I applied and got a place on this week. Although tiring it was definitely worthwhile.
Very - there are various future options they offer us priority on, such as any graduate and school leaver programmes. During the week all staff were engaged and willing to help.
The induction and final days were well organised. Days at base office were semi-organised but some free time too. However timings for events were non-consistent on various emails and communication could have been clearer.
