I was in the Pursuit Hub sector of consulting in PwC so I shadowed someone and helped him out with spreadsheets looking at opportunities with clients.
I have improved my excel skills as well as gaining a greater understanding as to how a business as big as PwC operates.
I really enjoyed the challenge and everyone was really friendly, so I never felt intimated or nervous
I feeled value because the way in which employees get on no matter whether they are a partner or an associate, so there is no concept of hierarchy in my view
Very organised and the induction worked very well
He guided me through processes effectively and didn't mind me questioning him frequently
I received support from my team throughout

Yes there are plenty of sports clubs and socials going on

It's a great experience that is very hard to come by
Don't be nervous when arriving as there is such a friendly environment and make sure you make the most of your privileged opportunity.
