As part of this role, I attended a series of calls and meetings, and also drafted emails to clients and internal employees alike.
While I have improved some of my existing skills such as employability and self-confidence, my main skill development was through listening and engaging with employees.
The afternoon sessions were excellent, with lots of work and meetings arranged. However, some of the morning sessions had limited content.
I feel like PwC have put a lot of effort into this week, and it has really helped me in finding out about the world of business. I also received various free items, including a hoodie on the last day!
The Monday and Friday sessions were very well structured. However, the work shadowing days sometimes had too little work to complete.
My buddy was excellent in his support throughout, and there was always a member of the recruitment team available to speak to.
There was lots of communication with the HR team in preparation for, and during, the programme.
Couldn't have really asked for more. Excellent salary and some expenses paid.
No, as it was only a one week programme. However, we did get to use the table tennis and had a complimentary lunch at Pizza Express.
Yes
A Big Four firm and an excellent experience, with a wonderful work culture.
Don't rush the tests, and don't panic in the telephone interview. They want you to show that you can keep going, even if the questions can be hard.
