I came to the office as a work experience student. Day-to-day jobs included drafting letters to HMRC, writing case summaries, sitting in meetings, and company/other research tasks.
I have developed public speaking skills, critical reading skills and writing style.
Highly enjoyable. The other students were incredibly nice and sociable and the staff were equally as kind, knowledgeable and helpful too.
I was sent sufficient feedback on all my work from all my supervisors and a meeting to discuss my CV and personal statement was also arranged which was really insightful. All this made me feel valued and involved.
The programme is very organised and runs smoothly. There are inductions, group exercises, and presentations in the morning and then you spend the rest of your day in your practice group.
I was sent feedback on all my work from all my supervisors. If I was unsure I could easily talk or email someone to ask questions. Support was readily available.

There was a team sport fixture during my week and after-work drinks. There were also opportunities for some to have lunch outside of the office with their supervisor.
Yes
A very successful firm with an informative, structured work programme with great people.
Be a well rounded person who has a variety of skills and interests. Pure academic ability will not necessarily guarantee you a placement.
