As a work experience student, I was able to shadow solicitors and trainee solicitors and attend expert meetings as well as complete tasks for the people in department.
My research skills have improved and I have developed my communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
The company was a friendly and comfortable environment to work in. I enjoyed working in various departments and overall the experience exceeded my expectations.
I feel like some of the tasks I completed did contribute to work of the department.
The structure of the week was very good, with interesting talks in the morning and a good amount of time allocated for lunch. We definitely had plenty of time to complete work at our desks as well.
Most of the training providers were very friendly and approachable. They gave good advice and were generally nice to talk to.
Don't think I met the employer.
We don't get any money but getting the train to work for 5 days cost roughly £100.
After getting home, I didn't have much time on my hands.
Yes
It was a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
try your best to talk to as many people as you can to get the most out of the experience.
