i have learnt so many new skills since I started at BDO. Things that i struggled with at the start have no become second nature and i really feel like i am developing my professional knowledge
I feel valued everyday and take a large role in big projects.
I feel supported by my employer and i feel that even going out to college for long periods of time does not increase my work load heavily
The salary is acceptable considering I am just a school leaver. However, my travel costs are quite high
BDO has many socials which are enjoyable and allow for you to network with others. You also get 10 days leave a year to do community volunteering and a day to move house! It is in a great location next to Oxford street.
Yes
I feel valued and is definitely a great way to get into accountancy. I get the same accountancy qualifications i would get if i went into university then work and none of the debt.
Be yourself. You are assessed well, but this is only to ensure you can do the job and pass the exams. After that it is just a question of whether the people interviewing you would like to work with you.
