Work Experience Student Review

I worked within many offices in the big firm which gave me a very varied experience when understanding what goes on in the firm. I often did work that our supervisors were tasked with which was really great for easily getting to experience the difficult role of a solicitor first-hand.

I have noticed my use of legal language has increased which is great for the long-term as it gives the impression of a guy who knows what hes talking about. Also, the fact that people were so talkative and friendly meant that I was able to talk about what I was working on which is a another step towards confident understanding.

I enjoyed every day of it very much, it was a good learning experience as well as a fun time. I got to know many interesting people and like I said, I was able to talk about what I was working on which is a another step towards confident understanding.

I never felt like I was being left out which created a friendly environment in which I could work effectively and efficiently. I was considered part of a team when working in the office which made me very valued indeed and made me more driven to work hard, as I felt like I was contributing.

There was a clear timetable sent to us before we even started our placement and everything was on time. There was hardly ever any confusion with what is going on next. This was helpful as our days were packed full of information to give us as much of a useful experience as possible.
