The first two weeks involves completing the CMI Level 2 Team Leading qualification, in which we all worked together in presentations and presented these presentations to build on our skills. The 3rd week was called the business week, where we actually worked on real-life projects.
The skills that I developed are my time-management, team leading and teamwork skills. I did this by handing projects on time, by working together in teams by presenting the presentations and our team leading skills by completing the qualification.
I really enjoyed this programmed as it improved my skills and by meeting new people, who have now become my friends. I think this is a great opportunity.
I feel that EY do value me, which is shown through the fact that they have 2 multi-faith prayer rooms, in which I was able to practice my faith, which some other firms do not have. Therefore I feel valued.
Structured by having 2 weeks on the qualification and the last week for the business week
They provided me with a lot of help by acting as a mentor, giving us tips on how to complete the task and also assisting us when they were busy themselves.
The support I receive from the employer is great, as they provide help with the presentations and during the business week.
Salary actually does exceed our travel and food costs, so we do actually get more than what we have worked for.
Outside of work, we were able to play table tennis and xbox in the activities room, which was great in order to relax
