My role as a work experience student involved working on a number of client matters. I sat in the corporate crime department. My daily tasks included proof reading, research, creating slide decks for presentations, sitting in on calls and meetings and also note taking.
Yes. Improved my note taking skills, especially during meetings/calls, how to structure legal documents and also general etiquette within the firm.
It exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed working with both my supervisors and found the work given very interesting and enjoyable to work on.
