E&I technician Maintenance of electrical installationsand instrumentation equipment across north london gas distribution sites. This involves performing testing and calibration across a wide array of equipment whilst ensuring that I adhere closely to health and safety measures.
Further understanding of health and safety and electrical installation techniques.
Some of the training feels irrelevant and gets repeated. Work on site is good as we are learning about actual tasks we will be expected to carry out.
Feel that working well does get recognised
Training for long periods of time gets very tedious as it is so sucluded and studying a single subject for a continous block of two weeks doesnt seem effective.
When struggling guidance is given quickly
If any issues arise they are quickly sorted by management
