I basically work as a store assistant and act as the exact role that they are. This includes stock rotation. Till work and refilling stock
I would say that my people skills have gradually got a lot better due to having to make conversations with people
I really do enjoy it. The staff are probably my favourite part of working at Aldi they are always nice. Of course there are some people that aren’t that great but I think it’s like that everywhere
Can be a tough one to be honest because I always feel that I ain’t doing a good enough job. I would like to hope that the staff are only encouraging me to work harder but sometimes it does feel like it’s because I ain’t doing a good enough job.
Not much to say in this it is very well organised and I always receive help
My tutor is lovely and lays it all out for me during a visit and clearly tells me what needs to be done
I never really receive support as there sometimes can be points where communication is low. The deputy’s need more credit as they have helped me more than anyone else has
Very well one thing to say is that Aldi’s wage is very good especially for my age
Once I have received my NVQ I would say that that would open up many different gates for me
Yes
Has overall been a great experience and a eye opener to the world of work
If you think it will be a easy job because it’s a supermarket then think again. Aldi is very hard work and the managers say so themselves. Try to make a good impression when you go for your interview
