My job role is an apprentice office administractor which includes programming of works on a daily basis for selected enigneers, My daily role consistes of dealing with incoming and outgoing phone calls and any queries that any customers have. I have the responsibility of sending out a letter to customers who either myself or enigneers have trouble to contact.
I recently went on a training course to become the fire marshall for the office which includes me carrying out weekly checks on both smoke and fire alrams, monthly checks on the emergancy lighting and carry out a fire drill 3 times a year.
I really enjoy my programme becuause I never have the same day in the office, somthing different always happens which is good becuase I don't get bored of doing the same thing each day.
I feel valued by Stannah due to being the youngest in the office and the least experienced but everyone still appricatied me and showed me respect.
I went to Stannah's head office for an induction which was orginasied as soon as I started my apprentership. Everyone in the office is very supportive and helpful by giving me their opions and advice on my college work. I have regualr meetings and telephone conversations with my assor and my manager so if there is any problem I have someone to tell.
I have regualr meetings and telephone conversations with my assor, which we disscuss my progress and what i have achived and my goals for a later date.
I have a lot of support from my managers and all the admin staff I alwyas have someone to ask if I am struggerling with either work or college work.
It cover my costs of living good as I pay out for my car, getting to and from work each day and I still have money to have a social life.
Not that I really know of as I have only ever worked for Stannah from the day I left school so I have not looked about. When I was not working all I did was go to school and play football at a weekend.
Yes
Stannah is a very family orientated business which makes anyone who is a new member of staff feel very welcome and comfortable within the work place.
I would strongly reconmend that you show you can work in a team and by yourself. Being able to to show customer services skills which enables you to deal with different and vunerable customers. Being able to multitask.
