In my new job role i am understadning the area of buying and selling electricity and learning to code in different languages. This new job role has enabed me to get back into coding and start back up my love for it whith the new members in my team.
I have developed new skills with programming and understanding in the porgrammes that we use in my team. Thus making me more aware and helpful if people might be stuck with something as we have had a few new members that have recently joined the team.
I love the company and how its there to help you with anything that might be troubling you. The team i work with and new friends that i have made has helped me to have so much fun working and going to universtiy and making my time here memorable so far.
I feel very valued by SSE in how they are helping me with my future and preparing themselves to build the future now. I have been respected and praised for my hard work from my manager and colleagues for doing my own little project whihc helps people in the business.
The programme is very well organised as this can be shown from the induction weeks and how well the structure is for our rotations around the business.
Enough support as we need from our tutors so if we are stuck with anything we can ask questions and solve any issues that we have.
Enough support as we need but from a personal pont of view i feel that its hard to go up and ask for that support as a confidence issue but we have mentors and our managers to talk to if we really need to.
This mostly goes towards my lving costs in halls and traveling to and from work. I had to move down here so living in halls was an easy option for me to choose as i had a limited time to turn things around.
Yes we do charity days and trips to see the business in different environments and what they do to ensure everything is running smoothly to help the business.
