Project manager, to help to make sure the task on the projects are on track and are going to meet the due date. If we are having problems whilst the we are in the testing process. Then to come up the a plan to help us get back on track or help to find a solustion to the error that has occured.
With in this rotation I have learn about how a project life cycle works and how to sovle prombles and have improved my promble solving skills. As a project manager you have to deal with different types of people, and you learn how to communitate with them to understand what works for them.
I have currently have really enjoyed my programme. As my team has been a supportive which has allowed me to develop and grow within my role, and have learnt a lot within this rotation from my team. However, there has been times were my rotation has been not what I have expected as I haven't been busy as the team was busy doing their own work so they found it hard to give me stuff to do.
I feel quite vauled at SSE, as I don't feel like an degree apprentices, I feel like a employee at SSE. In my rotation, I have found that they like to heard my ideas to what could help the team in regards to project management. I have had a good amount involvement with the team and they have taught me a lot and are always there to help.
The first 2 weeks of induction we well orgainsed, and there was a great deal of support to help us settle in. Adding to this, once in our rotationst there was a lovley welcome to the team and everyone has been happy to help and support me throughout. My mentor has also been a amazing help with the programme as when I have been unsure about the something, I have felt confortable to go and talk to her about it, which has allowed me to feel more confortable within SSE
There has been a good amount of support from our trainig provider there has always been someone there to help me when I have had an issuse. Meaning that the problem have always been sovled there and then. They have offered some guidance when it is need and try to make lecurtes to seem intressing.
There has been a massive support from SSE there has always been someone there to help me when I have had an issuse. The problem have always been sovled there and then. They has been a number of times where sse has offered support without me asking, what has showed that SSE are there to help us develop
My salary works quite well with my living, travel, daily and social costs, as it has made me think about what I am spending my money on and is allowing me to save some money at the same time. It also works loction is great from where I live now, however the loction of the university could of been a little better. eg porstmouth university.
there currently have not been that many opportunities outside of work that I have been intersted in. However I know that in the past there has been events and activies that work have put on. Like be the difference day what are voluntary work days, fitness classes and have an onsite gym.
Yes
Because the company has made the change from moving a way from home a lot easier and it has been really welcoming. SSE is also a great company to work for as an apprenices look because it has opened many doors for me and been a great experices.
To be confident in yourself, and if you have a idea tell someone. Try and my your voice heard because sometimes there will be people that have a bigger voice than you so you need to make sure that you standout.
