I am a 360 apprentice working at KPMG. I work in Audit and work with different clients on a day to day basis, alongside a very diverse team. I carry out different tasks for different clients, which makes the job highly exciting but also involves a lot of skills work. I really do learn something new everyday.
My soft skills I have been developing consistently since I joined. Not only this, but considering I talk to clients on a day to day basis, my communication skills have improved vastly alongside my language skills and presenting. You develop skills without realising whilst in the office or on client site.
I love the 360 programme. It's the only program that offers the ability to rotate throughout departments. It really is such an experience, as you experience everything in the departments, and still have the option to specialise/fast track, whilst also studying for exams and working with clients. Its perfect.
KPMG is the most enjoyable firm to work for. Everybody is so welcoming especially your team, as they are the ones you get to know best within the firm. The firm always do what they can to show appreciation for the work we carry out, for example, great socials, meals and events that brings people together even more.
Although the 360 programme has not been running for that long, it is incredibly well structured. By this I mean that, we begin our first rotations with a placement for either 6 or 9 months, and can rotate as much as we like within reason, until we find the right departments for us.
We receive so much support, its fantastic. Although we are based in office locations, people are so friendly that you begin to develop your friendships and get to know management elsewhere. I work in Bristol, and a lot of my support comes from London. Everyone wants to help.

Our salary is very generous. Although my travel expenses to and from work add up, I have managed to save a lot more money than I used too.
Yes. Kpmg encourages individuals to take part in as many activities as possible. In our Office, we have a list of activities outside of working hours that the company recommends, alongside clubs that can be joined.
Yes
It is a fantastic firm to work for. They provide the guidance, support and encouragement needed, with large benefits for all individuals. The atmosphere is great, all individuals are lovely and welcoming, and it really does feel as though everybody makes a difference at KPMG, everybody is valued.
Be yourself and act with integrity.
