As being on a rotational programme, day-to-day activities changes a lot. At the moment I am placed in audit and there is no set daily tasks. Just to finish tasks that have been given to us, which could include doing walk throughs and control testing.
I am studying towards my level 3 AAT whilst on the job. I have developed a lot of excel skills. And gain a lot more confidence.
As I am relatively new to the programme, I haven't had much time to get to know it
We have performance managers who are always there for you to talk to. Everyone if always grateful for your help or attempt to help.
The induction was very informative, we have training every now and again. We have support from KPMG and also the exam board. College was rushed so it was hard to gain all information for the exams. Mentors are always keen to help and older apprentices are always wanting to help.
If struggling with exams extra support will be given to you no problem.
Performance manager and mentors are allocated.
With living in city centre alone majority of my salary goes towards my apartment. However, if I was living at home I would be in a much better finical position with the salary I am on.
KPMG advise us to do so many hours of volunteer work which we can do with working hours. They always put on socials for each department to attend. And have meetings and forums every other month.
