I work as a Team Secretary. Within this role I book meetings, I do print, filing and copying, I arrange peoples diaries and travel etc. In total, I work for 40 people across 2 teams, some of whom are in other KPMG offices.
I have learnt new skills as some of the work I do is not work I have necessarily done before have developed my people skills further.
I absolutely love this programme. It offers a range of support, opportunities and is overall full of fantastic people too!
I feel extremely valued, anything you suggest or say is taken on board. Each person in KPMG is valued for who they are.
The programme is very well structured as the expectations are very clear. The organisation is flawless, if there is ever a problem, it gets sorted ASAP.
We get a lot of support from the training provider as we have a call and a webinar every month in preparation for the exam and to discuss the exam we have just taken. It provides an opportunity to discuss progress and to ask any questions.
Endless amount of support. We get given time away from our desk to study and if we ever feel overloaded with work, they are just a message away from being able to help.
Very well, especially as my journey is 1h 45mins each day as I live in Hertfordshire.
Where I live, there is plenty of opportunities. You can do swimming, dancing, Guides, voluntary community work etc.
