I am a Finance analyst, I process spreadsheets daily and use the info to reconcile accounts down and cleaning up any outstanding cheques and cash amounts from dealership banks. I also process Vehicle payments and making sure the dealerships receive their weekly bonuses. I work alongside purchase and sales ledger to ensure everything balances.
It has improved my accuracy and efficiency. It also has improved my excel and other computer skills. I also am very good at communication and maintaining professional networks with the dealerships.
I enjoy this programme a lot, you are treated like everybody else, the assessors are helpful.
I feel very appreciated in my department and I am also recognised by other people in the building and having special involvement in the dealership is very nice. It a great place to learn and work for.
The training is very thorough and helps you when developing various skills, it also enhances knowledge in particular areas you are working in so I have been developing my financial and accounting knowledge whilst on the job.
I have an assessor that comes out every 2 months to see how i'm getting on and then see how i'm getting on work wise and they help with the course work and any other problems relating to work. they are very supportive.
The HR team are now visiting us every quarter to help us develop within the business and how we can improve to get where would like to be. My manager is very supportive when it comes to the job. If I require help etc. he is very patient and will help teach me in this area.
I think you are very well rewarded. The location for me is great as I am local, so low travel costs. And I can financially support myself. This covers my daily costs and living costs.
I have been to 1 event during my time here. It was a great experience, I met new people and I did something well out of my comfort zone which boosted my confidence.

The PSA Groupe is a great place to work for they are very good at looking after their people and you are treated like a normal worker and respected as one too. I love it here.
Be yourself, the PSA Groupe like characters that work hard and also have a great personality. And be patient. The overall interview and assessments process took about a month to complete. Its definitely worth the time.
