Audit assistant- Interacting with clients daily, building knowledge on accounts and audit. Work is based at client site and working with small teams to complete the audit. The responsibilities I get from day to day include completing testing documents and I find it very rewarding and sometimes challenging but interesting.
I am currently studying for my Level 4AAT at BPP college in manchester. Many internal and external courses offered by the firm to gain and build on skills. Gained many skills and built on existing skills. Learnt alot about accounting and finance whilst working with RSM
I enjoy and find intersting the work i complete from day to day. The teams i work in are helpful and the firms values are great. I enjoy work and think the firm is great however i expected to progress more quickly through exams and training.
I feel undervalued by supervisors and managers at the firm. Although all the teams are friendly and helpful there often isnt recognision of hard work. Sommetimes this can be demotivating however the firm does include everyone in tasks and events.
I feel the programme is good and the induction process was very smooth. Training offered by the firm is excellent. However, I feel i could progress through exams more quickly and be challenged more within the firm with the tasks i am given.
Generally the training provider is very good. There is lots of support to help pass exams but i believe some classes can be boring. There is alot of help if needed outside classes.
Line manager is very good and approachable, the buddy system is also good when welcomed into the firm. I feel there should be more opportunity to catch up with line manager to talk about problems and get guidance of how to progress faster.
The salary is good and expenses on mileage help to pay towards travel costs. Salary is competitive.
I am very passionate about dancing and have continued to dance whilst having work. The firm offer many opportunities and are keen for everyone to get a healthy work life balance.
Yes
Overall its a lovely place to work with friendly people and brilliant opportunities.
I would advice people to be themselves and not be afraid to push their best side. The application process is very simple and suprisingly fun.
