HR Apprentice - switch around different aspects of HR to better my skillset I am required to complete all tasks given within a time scale and interact with colleagues with queries. I am a Project Team coordinator, within a new, confidential project that is starting up. I ensure minutes of meetings are sent out in a timely manner. I have no real responsibilities within the department.
I have learnt the ins and outs of a Candidate tracking system, whilst working as a recruiter. I have had no other internal or external training or qualifications.
I enjoy some aspects of my working environment, such as friendly and approachable colleagues and being set tasks to work on. I feel I could be a lot more exposed to issues within HR and be offered a lot more opportunities. this apprenticeship is not living up to my expectations as I feel like a spare part at times.
I could feel more valued by Bakkavor if they gave me more responsibility. My manager doesn't often praise me for what I am doing.
I had a good 2 week induction plan, within my first placement, but no induction for the other placements. My Mentor is brilliant, forever offering support and guidance for me and helping me to find out my next career move.
I haven't yet started my qualification, so I currently have no support from training providers.
I don't receive any support from my manager in regards to my apprenticeship. I don't really have any support from the HR Team. My mentor is always offering support.
I feel the salary could be better so I am able to make ends meet every week.
There are not many activities outside of work.
No
More opportunities can be found in other companies.
