the role that I do every day is a customer service role I help customers every day of my job to make sure they have gas and electric also if they are struggling with money we can help them to get some money. If customers are struggling financial or have a illness we have trained teams to help them
I have learnt multiple skills since working for British gas I have excelled in my communication skills and also I have improved my knowledge for computer systems that we use. at the end off the course I will have a qualification in customer service that I can take into any job with me
I enjoy working on the phones every call you receive is different. the company culture is really good you get treat really well. This is the best job I have ever had as everybody treats you like a human being. I love the different challenges that we face every day
I feel like a very valued member of British gas. I get treat with respect from my colleagues and also my manger is very understanding with the many situations I face in life. I get a lot of recognition for the job I do here at British gas my role can also be very challenging wich I really love
The apprentice is a really well structured programme you receive a lot of support from your mentors and managers and also colleagues the training that you receive is very detailed. the programme is well organised and you know exactly what you need to do to achieve the grade that you need to get the qualification
You receive a lot of support from the trainers provided. You can just go up to them if you need any support and they will give you the help that is needed. The tutors are very helpful and are very engagfulthe lessons that you have are very interesting and you learn alot
You receive a lot of support from the manager regarding the apprentice journey. the metors are also very helpful as the tell you everything you need to know to succeed in the job role. The Hr team are very supportive aswell. If you need any help and support there is plenty of people who can help you
The salary meets my cost very well I am able to pay my rent on time which I have always struggled with doing. I am able to also live a normal life so I can spend money on my partner and also spend good family time as I have the money to do so
there are plenty of company events we have plenty of voulnterring events for multiple charites that we can get involved in. There is plenty of business meeting that we can attend to update our knowledge so we can keep uto date with business updates and products and service that we offer

I would recommend British gas to my friends as this is a quality company to work for there are many benefits to working for this wonderful company. The carrer opertunites that are there is unbeleiveable. With hard work and dedication you can achieve anything within this company you are given the room to grow
Be yourself and work hard listen to what people tell you the assessment days aren't that bad when you get ready for them any free time you get use it wisely as this time is very important and you wont get a lot of it as you will be always busy
