  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really have enjoyed being part of the role. The building in which i work in is so calm and relaxed, with the business being helpful and kind hearted, knowing that we have never worked before. The program has been set specially to ensure us the best start in the role and has supported throughout. Also, the skills in which i have gained will be with me throughout my life. I enjoy the programme most because i get to spesk to people and help them out, which is something that i enjoy doing.

  • 4. How valued do you feel by Co-op?
  • I feel valued quite a lot. The company have been very suppiortive and helpful with me whilst i have been on the programme, ensuring that everything is running smoothley for us, and fixing any of the issues we have noticed. Co-op have een very accepting to change and implenment working life into younger people, which is positvie as i can now study and learn life skills as well as earn a wage for my self! The company were very fair and open witht he rules which they put set in the place for us to join.

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme at the beginnign wasn't very organized, as it was the first one they had done for the GI sector. This caused a few issues with finishing our workbooks, however when we adressed one of the managers about it, it was fixed very soon after, allowing us the correct amount of time per week t complete my work. They are also very structed in the sense that you have to be precised witht he time and you have and that the work you do is specific, ensuring theat you stay to the scripts etc

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • Each month I get a meetig with my apprentice lady. This was for 2 hours per one. In this, we speak about what i have done and if there is any areas in which i feel i might need to have more support in, as well as going through the work books i completed for the modules im in. However, we dont really stay in contact or have her there during the monthly meetings - although it doesnt feel needed due to the role being quite easy.

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • i recieve quite a lot of help off of the employer. This is because they ensure that we have the time off now to do our workbooks, as well as ensure we have extra time in parts of the role which might be harder for us to get rather than others. Also, I have recieved a lot of respected supportfrom them when I was going through something quite hard.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • It meets my costs a lot more than what i was expecting. Because of the company having the values, which they folllow, they beleiev that er shouldnt be treated different for each advisor, so they put us on the same wage as wat the rest of our teams would be on.

  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • YESSS i would recomend someone to do this apprentice, as it is fun and fullfilling when you comne to work, because of the neviroment and the people and the vibes that the business give off. Also, you get good knowledge and skill building, that you can then use in all other jobs as well as being able to provide for yourself from your wage - which is always a good feeling.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Co-op?
  • Be Yourself! The job you will be getting is tedious, as you are saying and doing similiar things day to day, however the rewards, skills and working for such a well known brand is really worth it!
