Assurance Audit Work With other EY Employees With the Client Completing the audit work you've been given No real projects Audit work
I have no gained qualifications yet Core Skills 1 None I have learnt a lot about audit work
Audit work is good however doing mundane jobs like ticking is very boring. Teams I have worked in have been good. Company Culture is good. The working day is different to what is expected and what is explained before you start. You are not told that you will be working such long hours and some weekends. The average day explains leaving at half 5 when the reality is finishing at gone midnight on some engagements.
I am appreciated by my team. EYas a firm do not appreciate the work done by first years enough.
All very well organised.
We are very well looked after when we are in college.
You are supported by your counsellor and peoples champion.
The pay we receive as school leavers is a lot less than a first year grad and we are all classed as first years and perform the same tasks on the job. Our salary is bad considering the hours pulled during busy season. When working 65 hour weeks my hourly rate is less than when I worked part time in Sainsbury's pushing trolleys.
No not at my level.
No
The pay does not justify the workload.
