As a Technical Apprentice, I spend time within offices as well as going out onto the shop floor, completing a variety of tasks and projects as I complete time within each area.
Along with completing a HNC at college, I have picked up many skills and pieces of knowledge of the working environment as I have progressed through my placements.
I am fully enjoying my time within the company as it is allowing me to work within the industry I want but also allow me to continue learning as I work.
I feel highly valued as an apprentice within Cummins because of the qualifications I am earning as well as on a personal level, allow me to ground within the workplace.
Everything has been planned on in detail, well in advance so everything comes together perfectly, and they are great at adjusting to changing circumstances.
Regular checkups and meeting allow me to express any issues and show progression through the apprenticeship program.

For me personally, I don't have high living costs, but I still feel that I have earned my pay each month, and feel good about my earnings
There are lots of events and community gatherings that allow Cummins to grow it's image, and as future employee's, we are invited along and encouraged to experience these events the grow on a personal level.
