My overall role within DLG is PMO analyst; training to become a project manager. The daily tasks i have within my role currently are; creating Agendas, capturing minutes, attending assurance reviews, attending and speaking is project status meeting. also, i am currently running my own project.
I have learnt many skills during my 4 months at DLG; not only am i more confident as a person, i know how to speak to a big group of people with confidence. I am currently working on my APM qualification and just about to take my PRINCE2 course. I am looking forward to learning more.
Work I love the work i am been given, although some of it can be quite challenging; i enjoy the challenge. Team The people i work with are friendly and helpful; helping me out if i get stuck with work. 100% exceeding my expectations.
My manager appreciates me and has time set aside for me to have 1 to 1's with her. She gives me advice and some constructive criticism to help me develop my skills. The people i work with believe i work hard and get on with the job i am given.
hmmmmm... The only disadvantage would be the course providers: babington are very slow on getting back to me. As we use their online portal and i am distant learner, it can be difficult. However my work mates help me out with struggles when they can.
I receive a varied amount of help and support on a daily basis depending on the task i have been set. However, i think babington could provide a better service.
A good amount of support is given to me on a daily basis by all relevant teams.
My train to work everyday is 15£, i feel like work could help me out with this. However my salary is good.
Many company events, charity events, APM events.
