My role is an apprentice software engineer. Day to day I work on various projects that align with my degree. I have meetings with collages to catch up and learn form them. I work with my team members on our projects. I also spend time developing skills I will need.
I have learned many new skills and developed existing skills further. There are many external training courses as well as internal ones that help me to do this.
I greatly enjoy the programme. My work is dynamic and interesting. The company culture is inclusive and welcoming. It has exceeded my expectations. I do enjoy work.
I feel valued by Goldman Sachs. My manager, team members and colleagues are always happy to give me constructive feedback so I know how to improve.
I feel like my progamme is fairly well organised. The induction was very enjoyable and helpful in stepping into the work world.
I receive a lot of support from my training provider.
I receive a lot of support. The HR team that guided me through the onboarding process was extremely supportive and attentive. My manager, team members and colleagues are also very supportive and are always happy to help me out with any problem I might have.
My salary meets my living costs, travel costs, daily costs and social costs. I particularity enjoy the location of my work in London. It encourages me to explore the city and find new things to enjoy. There are also a lot different food places, which gives me the opportunity to try new foods.
There are many opportunities outside of work. There are sports classes. Workshops to develop skills. Presentations and events to network and learn more about the company and industry. There are networks to help you meet more people.
Yes
I have greatly enjoyed the experience and the company culture I have found.
I found the application process to be clear and straightforward. Be confident, intrested and communicative during the interview. Enjoy the on boarding process and ask lots of questions. I would have liked to have been told more about what my role entailed.
