Pensions Assurance. Meeting different people internally and clients. Coaching new apprentices that have just left school helping
Training to be a chartered accountant. Internal training courses to learn audit standards and approach. Learning constantly on the job soft skills that cannot really be taught such as dealing with clients, meeting new people and organisation. Improved technical skills such as using different computer software
No two days of work the same, constantly working in different teams and with new people within the firm and externally working with new clients daily. Friendly office culture not afraid to ask questions if unsure or need help
Appreciation from managers within the firm they appreciate my time and effort i have put into their jobs. Also appreciate my knowledge specialising in pensions
Induction well organised got to work with all the other apprentices that started at the same time as me for a week on training in London. Lots of support from senior colleagues who I have worked with to help me learn and improve
Availability to see my tutor in college and email them to ask any questions I have. They are willing to spend time to help you also colleagues are there to help you because they know what it's like to go through study as everyone has been through the same experiences themselves
Can always contact the managers I have worked for if I have any problems and I have a specific people manager who looks after and issue I have within work or outside of work. I have a buddy who is the apprentice the year above me who I can ask any questions to and an overall attitude of ask any question there is no silly question
Meet my living costs although I still live at home with my parents as I am aiming to save for a deposit for a house in the future. I own my own car my salary helped me buy my own car. I am able to spend my money on any social costs such as going out with friends and colleagues
Lots of social events such as team meals and events such as bowling and annual sports days. Participated in charity events with work which have been very insightful and was good to help the local community near my office. Football teams and sports teams i join in with from my office

The chance of starting my career at such a young age has set me up for life and I have learnt so much during my short time at the firm and met some great people who I'm sure I will now be friends with for life!
Try and build your network and speak to people who have already been through the process of applying and ask them for their advice. Be confident and be yourself. Research research research!!
