A great programme for engineering with lots of opportunities to tailor your career to the needs that suit you and the business, a great working environment with lots of friendly people on site to coach you throughout learning. The company has a large number of employees and a name for itself worldwide this company has some great opportunities for people looking to further their career. The company met my expectations of a good apprenticeship with further educational training I am now looking to further my career and get involved in more areas of the business. Overall a great apprenticeship scheme for keen school leavers who have decided that this route is much more suited to them than university, but would still like a fantastic career in a great trade!
Mondelez is a very large company however it has a small company feel with lots of support on site and great links to other companies and systems where required. Managers have great support for apprentices and often have friendly competition between departments in order to help make the best apprentice. External recognintion consisting of a yearly presentation for apprentices to have the chance to win the apprentice of the year. Lots of tasks and projects to be involved in both inside and outside of the business.
The structure was lacking at the beginning as many companies were only just starting to take on apprentices which meant that the company tailored the scheme via the feedback from the people doing it.
Plenty of support throughout the apprenticeship both on site and off site through the training adviser and the colleges.
Good support from the employer when required however this has been something which we have required very little involvement with.
The apprenticeship scheme pays well compared to others in the area and the full salary for an engineer is competitive and well paid.
Yes lots of opportunities inside and outside of the business for company events and volunteering to help others.
Yes
a great company to get started with a good career which provides the right content in the apprenticeship to get the best from you.
apply early, arrive on time, do your research on the business, look for online tests before applying for apprenticeships and. make sure you do your home work
