Over a 12 week placement commencing in January, I work on various clients, from client site and the office (Embankment Place). I work in a team of around 5-8 people and I am assigned specific areas to test within the audit. Although I am coached when necessary, I am still responsible for communicating with the client, documenting my own findings and performing my own testing.
Communication skills, technical audit knowledge, team-working skills, an attitude of professional scepticism, improved time-management and independence.
Thoroughly enjoy the programme.
More valued than I would expect.
Very well organised - I knew what to expect.
Lots of support available from various individuals - both from Uni and placement.
