My role is to part of the commissions team with our Derivative operations. I work with Sales and the trading floor to fix any commission errors which pop up throughout the day
I'm being entered in for the IOC, which is an external, universally recognized qualification within the industry. For this we have external training course once a month, as well as our own self study days once a month. This has given me a much better overall understanding of the financial world outside of my own team.
I really enjoy my programme. Some days are long, there's lot's of work however I am learning a huge amount every day.
I get plenty o recognition from my line manager and people I interact with. I also feel like I am no longer a complete burden to my team and am useful to have.
Very
1 session a month plus hundreds of online questions and in depth video recordings of lectures. Lots of information
1 study day a month and one study day the day before the exam.
Well, however I do cycle in and still live at home which helps a great deal. I wouldn't want to think about moving out on my salary.
Christmas parties, 7 a side work football, gym, 2 days a year to volunteer.
