I was looking at how people in the team analysed the risk in investing into a business and how assets could be retrieved and sold to cover the investment. I also was able to learn the a wide understanding of the business from the fund managers to the treasury. I also was doing meetings with different team members to ask and learn about their job and how it works.
I have learnt many skills that I could carry and transfer into different places and jobs such as teamwork and communication which I feel would definitely help towards a future careers. This experience has also given me business skills such as terminology which I will use to communicate myself more professionally.
I thoroughly enjoyed this programme because it has given me a better understanding of the working environment therefore it will also give me a better idea of the subjects I would like to study in the future. I was enjoyed working with people from different cultural backgrounds as everyone had different ideas which all came very well in a team.
I felt very valued because I was seen as a member of a team, not just someone coming in from work experience.
It was very structured as I started with an introduction which made the rest of the business experience very clear due to this introduction.
I supported a lot of support because everyone I met was offering their time to help me understand the business.
I got lot of support from my employer because I was always next to someone which I could ask questions.
It is only an easy train journey to get to the location.
There are opportunities of team building outside of work to do team bonding.
