  • I work in group operations department my daily tasks were to go o meetings and meet lots of people and interact with them and find out about their life and how they got to this stage

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I think I have learnt lots of new skills such as my communication skills have improved as I am more confident to talk to people that I have never met. I have learnt lots of responsibilities such as learning about actual real life work situation and how its carried out in a real life based situation also learnt to take as much as opportunities as possible as they would be very beneficial in the future

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed this programme as I have experienced lots and now I would be more confident if I have something similar like this then I wouldn't be as nervous as I was on the first day I pretty much met up to my expectations as I never thought I would make a this far and experience such a brilliant thing and I really enjoyed where I worked and enjoyed talking to the people as they were really nice

  • 4. How valued do you feel by M&G?
  • I was very welcomed on the first day as I was very nervous but talking to my manager made me a bit ease as she made me less stress and everyone was very lovely and always helping me in lots of things I was very welcomed as pleased as the people were very generous and polite

  • 5. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • my programme was very organised as I had a timetable to even out my day and I had always had something planned such as meetings or preparation for presentation to keep me busy throughout the week I was here for. I had lots of support by everyone and never felt bad as everything was planned according tot my schedule my manager had planned and I enjoyed it as she put what I would choose to do. the induction was organised as they explained lots about the company as at first I didn't know anything about this company but staying here for a week I started knowing what M and G actually was

  • 6a. How much support do you receive from your training provider?
  • I received lots of help and support I needed throughout this week by lots of people always around being around and welcoming me. I enjoyed talking to lots of people as they gave me really good advice which I personally think would be really useful for myself. The people supported me lots and provided me help such as my manger guiding me and looking after me

  • 6b. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received lots of support from my manger mainly as she was the one providing me the best and looking after me getting me to my meetings on right, making me meet new people also guiding me throughout the week and taking her work time to give me the time working her which made me really pleased also the team was helpful and supporting me getting me to the right places and the employers who would take out their time to talk to me about their experience.

  • 7. How well does your salary/package meet your costs?
  • I am not really sure but its a struggle to get to work as I have to travel by tube and which approximately would take about 40 minute to travel here

  • 8. Are there many opportunities outside of work?
  • yes as i would like to participate in charity work or raising money for young children for those who require a better quality of life such as education, better health care...

  • Yes

  • as it would be an great experience for them as well as they would get an chance to experience such an great opportunity and especially for those who are interested in some jobs m&g provides as they don't really need to go university and they can start working young and succeed so much


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to M&G?
  • maybe i would say to take as much as opportunities as you can and try and participate more and ask lots of questions as it would be really useful understanding other peoples point of view on how they got to this stage they are in right now.
