I feel incredibly valued by Mace. I am constantly being given meaningful tasks to be completed in order to benefit the team. I feel this helps my personal development as I am able to have a real impact on the job I am working on.

I attend LSBU University on a part time basis and they are a great support with regards to our University work. We have contact details for our lecturers so they are easily contacted whenever we have a query. I have thoroughly enjoyed the University so far.
The HR team are a great support in helping the Apprentices development whilst on the scheme. Also I am in contact with my line manager each day and he supports me in my day to day work.
I believe the starting salary is a little low for someone who works and lives in London. My travel costs into Central London each day take up a large percentage of my salary and therefore more support on that from my employer would be appreciated.
Mace run volunteering days throughout the year for staff to get involved and give back to the community. Mace also holds quarterly events for staff in order for them to get the chance to meet other employees on a more sociable basis.

Mace offer a well structured programme for all of its Apprentices. Mace gives platform to learn and grow in the construction industry.
When applying for Mace I would advise all participants to be relaxed and act yourself throughout the recruitment process. It is not as daunting as it sounds and the recruitment process is a great chance for the participant to impress the recruitment team.
