Gained my CII qualification Gained better communication and IT skills
I have been placed into a team who care about my development. They have allowed me to learn skills and information which helps me on a daily basis to perform tasks relating to my job. The apprenticeship has met my expectations. I am enjoying it very much.
I feel very valued within my team and within the organisation.
I think the programme is well structured however there is room for improvement. I felt that the CII exams were not spread out well. I have a lot of support from my team and they have a lot of trust in me. From the get go, they allowed us to work on live work / accounts.
I thought the training provider was adequate however there are periods when it's a bit radio silent from them.
I receieved a lot of support from Aon and my team. My mentor has helped me to progress within my role and gives up his own time to teach me new things.
My salary is good for an apprentice wage and does meet my living cost however there is always room for improvement.
There are opportunities outside of work such as underwriter events, internal nights out / get togethers, charity work, etc.
