I work in the operations department in the regulatory/transaction reporting team. I complete tasks to make sure that every trade is reported correctly and if not I have to find out what is wrong with it and get it fixed.
I have learnt lots of new skills whilst being in the workplace through the training provided and my peers.
I enjoy my program as it is quite interesting and I get involved in a lot of tasks.
I feel very valued at UBS as I felt part of the company the moment I joined.
My program is structured well. The only downside is that we have to teach ourselves the content for our exams, we don't have any time at college.
We have good support from our training provider.
We have good support from our employer, they allow us to some study days per month to help us.
The salary is a competitive salary. It is good and my costs for travel are very high but the salary compensates.
There are lots of company events and activities to get involved in.
Yes
It has been a great start to my career and I like the people and the environment I work in.
I would say make sure you know information about the company and come well rehearsed to the interviews. Make sure you be honest.
