Wealth Management - This is involves providing admin services to client advisors; Producing informative information, client static detail updates etc...
Yes, heavily developed IT skills and general life skills such as attention to detail, presentation skills and persistency.
The role itself is fairly mundane however the company has a brilliant culture, great mentors to work with and positive future options.
From my small team of apprentices and manager I feel I am highly valued. However the wider network that I work with and produce work for does not reflect the same sentiment.
Incredibly well organized. Learning infrastructure set up providing learning classes and mentors. However too rigid in the fact that there is to be no flexibility of exam dates, we cannot take the exams when we feel ready to, we must wait until the apprentice coordinator wants us to do it.
Plenty of support, can access the support whenever necessary.
Similar to part a. The employer heavily supports the education of apprentices.
At face value the wage looks good. However a £6k commute & expensive London food prices makes a heavy impact on expenditures.
Plenty, networks and events to attend to, in-house gym etc...
Yes
A brilliant opportunity to kick start a career in the financial industry, however it is not a walk in the park. To get to the final goal will be a long grind and hard work.
Be themselves, Be confident and never be negative. Treat the application like a sales pitch, you need to sell yourself to the employer.
