I assist Client Advisors with their day to day work, I help to open new client accounts, I also help with the maintenance and updating of the accounts. No two days are the same, conducting background searches on individuals, handling and sending of documents to and from clients and their client advisors.
I began the course with a very bland understanding of the job role. I am now seeing the steps of how my work helps the business and that I do add value to my team. Tasks that seemed impossible to me at the start are now part of my daily routine. There were times that I needed help with some tasks, but now I am sometimes having to show people certain processes and how to follow through with some tasks.
The most enjoyable part of the learning programme so far has been the hands on experience in the finance industry, no two days are the same and the things I learn in the classroom sessions are becoming more and more applicable in my day to day work . I feel like there is a constant safety net of support, not only from everybody at Fitch Learning, but in the work environment too. I am being treated as an adult and I am very appreciative of the freedom and respect that is being shown towards me
I now feel like I add value to UBS and that my absence would cause an issue for my team.
very well organized, there is always somebody there to ask for help and everybody here wants us to do well. With the exams there is constant support, tutors are available and we have regular classroom sessions where we are taught more about the finance industry.
As I mentioned previously, I receive a lot of support
I receive an equally high level of support from everybody, including my employer
I believe that the salary we receive is a fair representation of the effort we put into our work, it covers all of my current financial needs.
I am always receiving emails about the communities within the office that I can join. I know there are sports teams and regular out of work events.
Yes
It is hard to fault the apprenticeship so far
Learn about UBS, there was a 3 stage process for me, a telephone interview, and then two face to face interview days.
