I am a trainee manager that has 4 x 6 month rotations within the business as part of the graduate scheme. Each time I get rotated into a department, I am getting a taste for the environment to eventually make a decision as to where within the business I want to be after the scheme.
I am currently working towards my level 3 CMI apprenticeship in Leadership & Management. I have no formal training in management as I am from a physics background, so this is a great skill to have the opportunity to develop.
I enjoy the control that I have over what I'm doing. If I ask to work on something, I will more than likely get the opportunity to do so. I also really support the company's values and want to do all I can to help them in the future.
I feel very appreciated by ENGIE, and I feel that they are giving me a brilliant opportunity by being on the graduate scheme.
The program is well organized with a structure of 4 X 6 month placements that we need to complete. There is constant guidance, should we need it, as to which step is best to take next.
I feel that as an organization, QA is very disconnected. I don't feel any true support from the trainers as all they do is give us the information needed to complete assignments. I feel very supported by my skills coach, who visits me at work periodically. My assignments are now marked by an external person so there is no support from them as we can't interact.
My employer is very supportive and always willing to help me with any initiative that I would like to take on.
As a whole the graduate scheme is paid very well, I am suffering the effects of living in London and the 10% uplift that ENGIE provide does not cover additional costs.
I am involved in lots of events, activities and other initiatives outside of my day-to-day job. This includes event planning for our upcoming apprenticeship awards.
Yes
Because the company values you as a graduate and truly invests both time and money into your personal development.
The process is very personality focused and it is important to treat others fairly within the group exercises.
