On a daily basis I deal with material orders within the business. This includes raising orders, and sending these orders to the suppliers. I work with my manager, and two girls who also do the same job as me in the office. On a Friday I do weekly payroll for two different sites; Erith and St Neots. This involves me entering their hours into a software called Timekeeper so that they are paid correctly each week.
I have learnt a lot since starting my apprenticeship here, within my role. This involves how to create material orders, raising and sending these out. How to use different software's such as COINS and Timekeeper. I have had training for both of these.
I enjoy working within my team and where I am working. I work with different ages, people and personalities which I enjoy, meeting new people and communicating with others.
I get all the support I need from my manager and team when at work. I feel they have supported me from the start and still are while I carry on my apprenticeship.
I am given tasks by my manager which I follow, this allows me to learn new stuff while at work. College isn't the best as it is in Manchester, quite far to travel for a 2 hour college day. I haven't been set the good amount of work from college and its all communication over emails which can get confusing at times.
I receive training and tasks from my manager however college isn't the best. The support from my manager and team is very good and has helped me a lot.
I receive a lot of support from my manager every day, and my work team. They help me solve problems or sort problems if any occur.
I believe I am paid very good for my age and the apprenticeship role.
We do plan to do events outside work, so far we have only had the Quiz night.
Yes
I believe it is a good company to work for and offer so many opportunities.
Stay calm for the interviews, they are doing it to get to know you. I was nervous too! But be yourself and stay calm
