I moved around different departments at the firm and was given tasks to complete by the trainees. I was also allowed sit in while the trainees worked on real cases.
It allowed me to see what working in a corporate law firm would be like and taught me importance of business aspect to working in a law firm as well as the law side.
A lot, the programme was a valuable experience and i was surprised to have gotten a place on it. I feel like it will really help me when applying for summer vacation schemes next year and even when I leave uni its something I could still use on applications etc.
I felt the trainees had a lot of time for us.
It was very well organised, we received a sheet with our week planned etc so we always knew what department we would be in and who we should report to which was good.
Whenever I had a question I could easily ask them, they were all very approachable and nice and never seemed as though they were to busy in their work to give you help if you ever did need it
Same as above.

They spoke about applying for Summer Vacation Scheme which I intend to do and we were encouraged to do this in an e-mail we got from the person who ran the scheme on the last day. I feel this was valuable as most people on the programme would likely do this as its the main way to get a traineeship
Yes
Its a valuable experience and will help if you want to apply for jobs in law when you leave university.
Make the most of the week and don't be shy
