My role is a Finance and Commercial Academy Student. This involves on a daily basis (depending on role) accurately reporting the financial position of the business over a range of topics, and implementing improvements to meet business goals.
A number of training course are provided, including the main study focus of CIMA. within placements I have developed great Excel skills including macro writing (from having zero excel skills prior) as well have businesses software knowledge (SAP) Communication skills and accounting knowledge.
The programme is top quality and Siemens culture promotes the wellbeing of its employees, the programme is also well respected within the company and provides great future opportunity.
Highly.
The programme is very well structured with a dedicated manager through all placements when you may need support. placements are assigned very fairly, interim interviews may occur, which is added experience.
Good support, provided through a external provided.
Great support, again Siemens supports its staff in a world class way.
The salary I'd say is above the norm for a school leaver. I have moved 3 times around the UK for placements (Which I enjoyed) these moving costs are covered by the company and salary has always covered my living costs.
There are some company organized events, you would have to network independently if you would like to do more.
Yes
Their employee culture is world class, the work that Siemens undertakes is very interesting and I am proud to work for a company that thinks for the future.
be yourself, the onboarding process will explain the steps clearly.
