For the first year, we go to college and do our NVQ level 2 and a technical certificate.
I have learnt how to, use the correct methods for hand fitting, turning and milling making products in the college workshop
I enjoy college but I enjoy being down on site even more as I learn more skills that I will more likely use
I feel very valued.
It is organised very well for 4 years and if we meet the correct standards and pass the courses we get a pay rise as a praise
We receive lots of support, even at college. We get HR coming down every 2 weeks to check on us.
We receive lots of support.
I think at my age the salary is really good as I would have had to get a weekend job as well as going to college. It pays for my train and still give me spare money to save or spend
Yeah, out side of work we can still extend our learning.
Yes
It’s a great way how to get the qualifications that you need also it gets you the experience. Also you get to go round the whole company so you get to understand what you like and don’t.
It’s a great place to work and it has great opportunities.
