As a business management apprentice I will need to gain a better understanding in what goes on around the business, therefore every 4-6 months I get moved to a different placement inside a never department. I get the same responsibilities as an full time employee.
I have developed my IT skills massively. I always assumed I had great IT skills although upon working I realised that my skills does not correlate to a business working environment. BAE systems puts a lot of effort developing their apprentices.
I enjoy my programme a lot, it gives me many opportunities and allows me to develop my understanding on what a business needs to become successful.
BAE systems do a lot to make their employees feel valued. As an apprentice we constantly get told we are the future of the business, therefore we feel a lot better.
It is very organised in terms of its structure.
I receive a lot of support, although I do not really get much contact with them a they are incredibly busy. But they are always there when needed.
Constant support is given from all employees and the employer as we are constantly told we are the future of the business.
It meets my costs fairly well, although with more money comes more costs.
