Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and various weekend days I will take on the role of a Field Service Engineer and visit sites that I have been assigned a call to, sometimes I will pick up parts en route to site to be used .Once at site I will meet the engineer that is also assigned to the call and assist him/her. On Thursdays I go to college and take part on a HNC level electrical and electronic engineering course.
yes I have learnt more about the machines that I will service and maintain due to training courses in Germany, I have also learnt more about electronics and engineering in college.
I enjoy my programme very much as I feel independent and I feel the job role is very much suited towards myself.
I feel valued by Siemens as they have invested a lot of time and resources into me and my learning
my programme is fairly well structured, as the healthcare apprentice scheme is fairly new it is always being improved and I feel like the feedback I have given will help other years and will have a benefit to the scheme.
I receive generous amounts of support from my training provider, if I ever get stuck on anything I always know I can ask the other engineers or my manager for help
I receive generous amounts of support from my employer, if I ever get stuck on anything I always know I can ask the other engineers or my manager for help
In my opinion Siemens pay me a competitive salary for a Apprentice with annual increases in pay relating to job performance.
yes there are many opportunities outside of work such as the Works company events
Yes
They are a well known respectable company who look after their employees ad make them feel valued.
For siemens healthcare I would suggest reading up on the company and into the business projects and modalities.
