I am a Network engineer. I work on secure projects so I cannot disclose any information. I typical day for me (from what ive heard) is a standard development life cycle, eg: Client, plan, build, test and then maintanence.
I have yet to fully start my actual role but ive learnt a lot in terms of how the buisness wants me to operate. Ive learnt about quite a lot of soft skill related things during my induction.
I've enjoyed my induction quite a lot

Yes
They really see young people as the future.
Be yourself. It's not about how computers you've built and its not about how many programs you've written. Training will happen, they just want to make sure you fit the company and team you'll be joining. So, dont worry!
