I am a Technical engineering Apprentice. I am currently completing 7 placements within the business to then move onto my final placement and complete my apprenticeship. I am in my 6th placement and currently based at Warton.
yes I have learnt numerous engineering skills and the main one is software skills. within my apprenticeship I have used certain software which is required to complete tasks.
I enjoy my apprenticeship programme however wish it was a little longer so I could experience more of the business before I move on and complete my apprenticeship.
I do feel valued as I am so called the future of the business. this is mainly shown through managers at the Training facilities rather then the departments I visit and complete placements in.
my programme is well structured and has no issues. However depending what assessor you have who manages you through to apprenticeship can determine how well you are required to control your own apprenticeship. Some assessors leave you to your own devices more that others.
I receive support when required or when I ask for it. I do get offered loads of support not just from my training provider.
There is endless amounts of support provided to you in this company. 10/10
Due to my age the salary package is very good. however I have no major responsibilities such as a house or children.
There are opportunities and enrichment activities outside of the business. For many types of people.
Yes
