Aircraft fitting, various sub assemblies on aircraft, working with various adhesives, fasteners, and preparing the product for the customer

In terms of previous jobs I have been in prior to working at BAE Systems, the Apprenticeship programme which follows on to a permanent contract after my apprenticeship is certainly the best decision I've made in terms of career path and prospects
The levels of support within the training centre and within all the separate businesses on site are second to non, any issues are accepted and sorted usually within a few days, if further knowledge is required, it is found in a short period of time.
Everything is organised in terms of required work, the NVQ modules are set out and all required work is explained.
Any queries are answered from my assessor, and help is given with any things I'm not sure about
The onsite support is brilliant, they have been understanding with the fact I am an apprentice learning the job, and allocate me all the help I need.
The salary is competitive and covers all my required costs.
There are many opportunities to help outside of work, with various charity events supporting the companies designated charity
Yes
Earn while you learn, no fee's and you get the training you require and get paid to do it, personally, it isn't even questionable to compare this to a university course.
Ensure that you keep on top of your STEM knowledge due to the college courses require you to be aware of mathematics and physics etc.
