I am the new Business Administration Apprentice working within the Corporate Identity team and will be with PSA Peugeot Citroen for 2 years to earn my NVQ level 2 & 3. I’m being given a variety of tasks to start off with to assist me in learning more about the processes within the business and Network Development as a whole. At the moment my role consists of creating PRs, liaising with suppliers regarding invoices/Purchase Orders/Good Receipts and completing E-billings to recharge dealers. I have also been tasked with many projects, one being to manage the departmental DS 7 Crossback.
Yes, I have developed & enhanced my life skills during this apprenticeship, this has been a result of the working environment that I have been placed in because it allows me to gain the practical and educational knowledge of working within a business
I am always excited to arrive into work as there are always different tasks to complete in various ways depending on the assignment. Corporate Identity is an ever-changing work environment as we deal with lots of distinctive people/groups; Dealers, Architects and suppliers. This combined with my own team is why I love working here.
I'm treated like an actual employee working within a functioning team and not just an apprentice. In addition, my line manager (Kam Toora) provides me with all the assistance that I require. This is also the case for everyone in my team, they all give valuable support when needed.
This apprenticeship programme is very organised as my training provider sets up monthly meetings to see my progress. If I am stuck on a part of my apprenticeship work then [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] (Training Provider) will quickly respond with an answer regarding the question.
Whenever I request the assistance of my training provider [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the RateMyApprenticeship Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions] he will respond with ease and genuine support.
An illustration of the support from my employer I receive would be from my team, they are all helpful and patient while I am learning different things to do with the job role. My HR Department does quarterly meetings with me the see how I'm getting on then asking if I require any assistance with anything work related.
In my opinion, it is quite a good salary for an apprenticeship. It allows me to pay my necessary requirements such as living, daily and travel costs.
Yes, for instance, very recently my team and I attended a National Citroen Dealer Conference which was a great experience because it allowed me to create a presentation to be shown to all the dealers who came to our pop-up stand.
Yes
This is one of the best opportunities that I have been given and turned out to surpass my expectations, that is why I would recommend it too a friend.
In my opinion, I recommend being yourself. This is because if you are being yourself you will find everything easier during the entire process.
