Design apprentice working on CAD software to model and position structurally related items around the submarine
I've learnt lots of new skills within engineering during my time here. Having come straight from school and not experiencing anything similar to this before, I didn't have many skills relating to this but, my communication skills which have improved massively and the confidence to talk anyone.
I enjoy the programme a lot when we are in the design offices, not as much when we are out on business placements as they are only short and sometimes have no relevance to our work.
very valued and equally to everyone else.
Its a very well organised programme and reasonably flexible to suit your style of learning individually.

As much as you want, whenever you want.
fairly well, as an 18 year old my costs are huge and even with wanting to buy a property shortly my salary will do okay in supporting this.
There are a couple of things to do outside of work which I don't get involved as I am am busy outside of work socially and sporting wise.
Yes
good company, opportunities all over, get treated very well, reasonable wage and great chance to learn so much off experienced people within the industry which you can apply elsewhere.
Learn as much as you can about anything and stay open minded where you could end up in the future within the company as there are so many different departments and opportunities.
