I'm currently working in my exit placement working as a Project Engineer, my day to day task constantly vary whether its chasing issues, bringing contractors onsite, creating packs, holding review, there is a high level of responsibility that this role will have once I finish my Higher Apprenticeship.
The skills I have mainly developed during my current placement is my communication skills and confidence.
No day is the same, especially in Engineering, theres always something different happening everyday and that keeps the job interesting.
Especially in my current role, I feel very valued as the work I do as part of my team is crucial to the build.
Placements are set out well with the chance to change where needed.
We gain the required training as a minimum
The Early Careers team are always available for queries and guidance
Reasonably well, the exit salary however will exceed this
There are clubs available for opportunities out of work however, not communicated out enough.
